Time for a new start and to get serious

I'm not exactly new to this site but since joining, I've lost no weight because of being in the cycle of 'eat well for a few days, then feel depressed and eat junk/binge eat/not give a *kitten* about my health'. It's an improvement from when I was gaining weight, but I'm not happy that I always end up ruining progress in moments of weakness. So I joined a gym. I went and had my induction session today and I'm looking forward to making it a part of my routine. I'm pretty unfit at the moment and get out of breath really quickly and am not that strong either. I could use all the motivational people I can get. People who go to the gym a lot would be nice too, since I'm fairly clueless about most of the stuff there and could use some tips.
I'm not overweight, but I'm bigger than I feel I should be, considering my obviously small build and being a complete shortass (seriously, I like to say I'm 5'5" but even that might be exaggerating a little).
