Using food for comfort is my middle name. I have been extremely sad and stressed and of course I always turn to food. How can I change this habit to something that won't kill me?

You decide that being healthy is more of a comfort than eating, and find something else to do. Yoga is good for stress, walking, even knitting or reading is better than blindly eating. Maybe talking to some one would help. But what it boils down to is a decision. There is no magic "way" to do it.0

I know what you mean.. I just have to ask myself, "why am I eating?" If the answer is: hungry, I eat. If the answer is: sad, bored, or anything else, I try to busy myself with something else.0

I have had to get tough with myself and say No. Enough. Setting boundaries with myself is necessary, I just want to eat and eat especially during these snow days. Remembering how I want to fit in my summer clothes and I am going now to try them on!0
