i would recommend seeing your doctor for the hip. I had a very painful hip last year that was interfering with my exercise. When you can't exercise without pain, you tend to sit more and while sitting it's easier to reach for food for comfort and excitement. My hip doctor said it was a strained deep tissue ache and sent me to physical therapy. Turns our one leg is a smidge shorter than the other and that was giving my hip an ache. Physical therapy were wonderful and made a huge difference. I did it about 16 weeks, 3 times a week, in addition to my dance classes and it was so great to get rid of the hip pain. This year, celebrate your 40 th birthday, and THINK YOUNG! I've been reading in this week's time magazine ( the one with a baby on the cover) that says the KEY to staying young and aging slower is an optimistic outlook; that hope really is a panacea. Mindful meditation, with positive self talk about how well your doing helps one relieve stress (a known age causing agent). I want you to look at yourself every morning and say out loud "hello good looking--- I've spent 40 years building this mind, body and spirit, and I love what I've done. Today is going to be a great day, with opportunities to make a positive difference in this world. Let's Roll!" Try that OUTLOUD for a week and check in next Friday, February 27 and tell us how you feel, OK?
