Hi all,
I'm about to realize my US dream at the age of 32 :D I'm a big NBA fan and I'll finally get to see quite a few live games.
I've recently lost 40kgs and I certainly wanna have fun in the US, but won't put 10kgs in 5 weeks :D
What would you suggest?
I live in Australia and I usually eat lunch at these "build your own salad" chains - is there anything similar there?
I won't stay in hotels (just airbNb) and I'll also walk a lot :)
ps cheesesteak in Philly is a must, right? :D

Almost every restaurant in the US serves a salad of some kind. Some have a salad bar for you to make your own. And yes, there are some chains built around that concept. But what you'll find in the area you'll be staying, I don't know.

It's your DREAM vacation. Go, be conscientious when eating, but....and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

I don't know if this is the sort of thing you're thinking of, but a lot of grocery markets in the US have a build your own salad bar. It's definitely cheaper than going to a restaurant.
