Doing weight training first if you want to do both the same day. This will boost how effective your cardio workout is.

    I thought it had more to do with the effectiveness of your form when doing weight training. If you're already tired from cardio, you tend to slack off on your form while lifting, putting yourself at increased risk of injury.
