I apologize if this isn't the right category, but I have a question about reading messages. Other message boards have a feature where you can display only unread posts and you can mark the forum read. I see the Recent Discussions link, but I don't see anywhere to mark them read so that they won't display unless there's a new comment/message. I find myself scrolling through the list and seeing messages I've either already read or don't care to read. Does MFP have this capability? Thanks!

I learned this the hard way, so do not do this unless you want to mark every message as "Viewed." You can not mark a single message as viewed, but on the Web version, you can click on the cog/gear wheel at the upper right, and choose Mark All Viewed, or Mark Category Viewed. WARNING: That will mark everything viewed, but the messages will still be displayed, only the hyperlink will be a lighter shade of blue.0
