P90X/Resistance Training pre breakfast?

I'm starting P90X tomorrow and trying to change from being a cardio junkie! I've completed a couple of the sessions this week (Legs & Back/Shoulders & Arms) and find them challenging but manageable...

So my normal exercise regime is steady cardio on rising (45-60) minutes and my main cardio is performed early evening (Insanity/T25). I can't do intense cardio early morning as my body just doesn't feel up to the crazy jumping and speed. I do think I could work hard at P90X though and it would suit to sometimes perform them when I get up but before I have breakfast.

Any thoughts as to whether I should try and eat something prior to a morning session of P90X? I never really like eating until I've been up a while and had a cuppa or two!
