At what point do you personally consider someone/yourself fit?

    So fitness is a level not a checkbox. Agreed! I feel a little better seeing all the folks on this thread who consider themselves "not fit" like me, but whose fitness levels I aspire to one day attain!

    A few weekends ago my family hiked up an 1800' series of hills. My sister stopped after 300' and declared herself unfit. I continued to the top with my nephew, but was annoyed I needed to stop six times for 10-20 seconds each. He did not need any stops. I complimented my nephew on being fit! My girlfriend said I should stop comparing myself to 18-year-old marines. ;)
