I have been a little overweight my entire adult life, but the birth of my daughter almost 2 years ago was the start of packing on a ridiculous about of weight. I've been athletic my entire life (used to compete in triathlons, ran 2 marathons a few years back, have been working with a trainer for the past 18 months) so I am decently fit, but ridiculously fat. I hit a high (low!) point in November, when I was 233 at my annual physical. I am now down to 197.4. I'm working with a bariatrician and a dietitian who are part of a well respected hospital-based weight loss program, and am doing great, but I'm doing it all on my own. I'd love some friends so we can support and motivate each other.

Stats: I'm 5'7", currently down a little over 35 pounds. I am eating 1600 calories a day and 100 grams of protein, per my dr & dietician. I'm exercising 2-5 x a week (consistency is tough since we've all been sick continuously this winter. Agh, daycare germs!). I don't have a goal weight, but again, on the advice of my dr & dietician, my goal is to see if I can enjoy eating and life at 1600 calories, and see where I get to. So far, so good!

Thanks, all!
