Retrying to get fit again and beat the negative monster.

Hi my name is Stephanie. I am a mother and wife. I started my fitness journey really last year but failed in the end. Everything was going great. I was following the awesome Body For Life Program. Had lost 15lbs and gained lean sexy muscles and my abs where defining themselves.
I then had to leave my job. Negative monster came in. I started eating like crazy because of this and lost my motivation of going to the gym. I gained back all I had lost and more and lost all my precuous muscles.
Now I want to take action and retry this again! I currently weight 155 so my goal is to lose 20lbs and gain back my muscles and finally achieve my goal of having abs. 20lbd might not seem like much but theres a big difference in being 20lbs fat instead of having 20lbs of muscle.
My biggest problem is that I have perfectionist tendencies and I give in to Negative monster and also lack self will and motivation. If I mess up in something during the day like if I eat a bad food or dont exercise at the right time I feel like giving up for the rest of the day. I also have to force motivate myself constantly during the day or I will give in to negative monster and lose my will which then leads me to give in to cravings and ...well its like a deadly cycle.
Well this year I intend to beat this negative monster and get fit! Hope to make new friends/fit buddies, motivation and support and also that I be of motivation and support to you guys aswell.

I'm in the same boat. Moved to Oman due to hubby's job. Gained weight in the last 8 weeks. Trying to now get back to the gym and healthy eating. How about becoming buddies and trying to motivate each other? J22yce0

My situation has a lot of similarities as well. My main focus right now is daily fitness and in teaching myself to be more positive, to take care of myself and support myself.
My diary is private, but my exercise and such should show up in my feed, and I'm happy to chat.
