on Jan 1st I started my journey. I logged, worked out ( weights, core, cardio) 6x week. Was on a roll... I was 8 inches and 6 lbs down and then boom on Feb 8, my dad died suddenly. So...in the past 2 weeks I have hardly slept, didn't get into gym, hardly drank water and ate *kitten* loads of junk and carbs. basically I'm back to square 1..if not worse ( afraid to re-weigh).
So I've decided to stop feeling sorry for myself, pick myself up and tomorrow I re-start this journeytowards the goal of 30-40 lb weight loss.
I've re-stocked my fridge full of fresh produce, semi-planned my meals, have my workouts ready to go for the week and brushed off those food scales. Just want to throw the affirmation and goal setting out there! I got this!

I'm sorry for your loss.
Sounds like a great plan to continue on your journey.
Try to be kind, gentle, understanding and loving towards yourself during your bereavement time.0
