Is the fitbit charge a good step tracker? And is it easy to use and understand? Any feedback is appreciated

You want to track steps only? Get a zip ..no need for the charge unless you particularly want one
Love my fitbit..started with the flex but wanted to wear bracelets and didn't track sleep...so downgraded to the zip which fits in my pocket, on my waistband or in my bra and I love it ..I also have a polar FT4 HRM for workouts by the way...I'm not sure of the wristband HRMs or their accuracy (yet to be convinced)0 -
I have a FitBit but quit using it in favor of a Garmin Vivofit which is much more accurate. FitBit estimates calories but Vivofit actually measures them. FitBit is a glorified pedometer.0

LOL..don't dispute that Garmin is a good device but please explain how it "actually measures" calories

I have a Fitbit charge- I feel it accurately counts my steps, sleep, etc0

I have read the zip to be most accurate step wise. Calorie burn wise the bands are not accurate. The most accurate was the bodymedia fit which was bought by jawbone and that technology is not being used in the jawbone line. So then you need a chest strap hr monitor for the most accurate burn rate. There is a band by polar that also hooks up or syncs with the chest strap hr monitor. Sold separately at about 65 ea.0

Depending on exactly what you want to do is how you should chose your device. For steps, get the Zip. HRM? I have read that ones that require chest straps are the most accurate.0
