1) do you stop and take pictures of funny signs/shirts or beautiful scenery?

2) do you slow down or pose for a photographer taking pictures of you?

for me, it's yes and yes. lol. i take between 20-60 pictures per race. sometimes i stop, and sometimes i take it on the run and hope it's not too blurry. the best sign was 'run faster than your mascara'. not sure why, but i found that hilarious. the best shirt was 'dear God, please let there be someone behind me to read this'. :) as far as getting my picture taken, i always smile, even if i feel like i want to die. sometimes i wave or raise my arms or show a bicep.

how about you? on a related note, what was the best sign or shirt you have seen?

Depends on the race. A Disney race, yes, we stop and take a lot of pics with the characters. Other races, it just depends on what we see but usually maybe only one or two pics while running. I never stop to pose for race photographers. Maybe I should because my race pics are always awful! :)

Best sign I saw was last year at the Pittsburgh Marathon. "Your training lasted longer than Kim Kardashian's marriage". Ha ha!
