3500 calories eaten makes you gain 1 pound.

So...do you use a digital scale to weigh your food or not?

OP, I tend to weigh my foods out cooked. I have no idea if that's the correct way or not, but there are entries in the database that specify calories for cooked or uncooked items.

Most people burn 2000 calories a day.
So if you eat less than 2000 a day you can loose weight. Then your body uses stored food.

Use digital scale to weigh yourself! In the morning before you eat every day to see results!
It works for me. I can see my numbers go down in 7 days I loose 1 pound

    You're making no sense.

OP, weighing food raw is more accurate than cooked, because the amount of time that you cook your food can result in more or less loss of water. However, you CAN weigh it cooked if it's more convenient for you, just make sure that you used "cooked weight" entries in the database, because 100 grams of cooked chicken will have more calories than 100 grams of raw chicken, for example, because that cooked chicken started out as around 125 grams of raw.

    All the best!
