What do you do after you get home from work? I'm not a gym rat and even if I go walk I still have most of the evening free. I try to prep most of my meals on the weekend so I don't have to cook a lot during the week. I don't have kids to deal with so I spend most nights in front of the tv. I think I need a hobby!

Usually, first thing after work is to drop a deuce. Depending on who is home depends on whether or not I close the door or turn the fan on.

I go home, scream at the kids, let the wife out of the basement so that she can cook and kick the cats while I wait for my supper.

Not really why I was here, but thanks I guess?
  • I really try to organize my group activities after work to keep me from hitting the couch... Lacrosse is a big part of my life, so it's easy to just head right from work to the field house.

Tuesdays and Thursday nights I go to the gym and don't get home until about 7 or 7:30...so those nights it's pretty much play with the kiddos for a few and then get cracking on preparing dinner.

Other nights it just depends...kids keep me and my wife pretty busy and beyond that, there's always something that needs to be fixed or cleaned or cooked. I usually get home around 6 and I don't really sit down until dinner which is usually around 9 or so.

I work from home, so there is no "after work". But in my fantasy, I have dinner that I thought ahead enough to have prepared in the crock pot, then I play video games and watch funny tv shows til bedtime. :)

walk the dogs, cook dinner and mess around on my guitar - oh yeah, usually accompanied by a glass of some adult beverage.

Leave the office, walk up to catch my husband at his office to get a lift home, get home, work out, shower, have the perennial conversation about that to have for dinner, prep dinner, eat dinner, clean up after dinner, make lunches for the next day, do laundry, feed the cat, clean up or fix up or organize something in the house, we get to shovel snow a lot theses days, drink tea to try and keep from eating something else, watch television or play something mindless on my tablet or read, go to bed....
  • I do nothing that I would like to do...3 nights/week I go to the gym, the other nights I take my kids to their activities. When I get home I cook/ feed mouths, wipe butts, beg (lots of begging to get kids to eat, to do homework, to not fight, to be regular human beings), I clean up, I yell, I fix boo boos, more cleaning of snotty noses and streaky underwear, gum in hair, beg kids to get in the bath, wash up the little tykes, then more begging to get their teeth brushed, more begging for kids to get into bed, more begging for kids to stay in bed...then they want books, then they have to potty, then they are scared of monsters, then they are thirsty....aaaahhhhh!!!!
