I really need some help :(

Hey guys. I'm Kaysi, I'm 22 and currently 206lbs. I've just found out managed to put on 12 pounds in less than two weeks. The problem is, I'm constantly hungry. Insatiably. I can't get on with anything, be comfortable or enjoy myself if I'm hungry. So I end up stuffing my face. I'm getting to the point where i feel like this is how I'm always going to be so I should just accept it and wait till my heart decides to give out. When I've eaten, I'm able to think positively and can feel like I can conquer this. But when hunger sets in, I couldn't care less about losing weight or myself. So i'm pretty damn close to giving up. I'm not even going to start on exercise. I give up way too easily, I even hired a personal trainer and it still didn't help me. I just need some advice or reassurance right now because I've never been so low. If this is how it's going to be, I honestly dont want to carry on living.

Take it one day at a time, there is lots of support here :smile! I am new but already loving this, knowing that someone can see what I ate for the day helps keep me on track.0

Honestly I've always allowed food to choose my emotions. If I got hungry I got angry or even sad until I ate. I always felt hungry. People didn't want to be around me when I was hungry cause I was terrible and always hungry. I did a YouTube hypnotist video one night. And now I'm not hungry nearly as much. I'm not saying its for everyone but it could be worth a try. Message me if you'd like0

In my experience, if I'm constantly hungry it is usually because I've been eating junk and my body is not getting the nutrients it needs. Perhaps reevaluate your nutrient goals? Could also be hormones or stress. Keep drinking lots of water and make sure you're getting enough protein.0

First, you are hungry all the time and can never feel full, you should go and have your thyroid checked and a blood test to see your hormone levels. Hunger is often the symptom of an underlying cause and that could definitely be the cause for some of your weight gain. Second, go talk to someone that is not a trainer, a dietitian or a nutritionist. Go talk to someone that doesn't care about your weight or what you eat. There is nothing wrong with therapy since everyone needs help picking themselves up. I was in therapy for over two years for ED and then later for relationship issues (I'm 24). It has really really helped. Overcoming low self esteem and gaining a little confidence is the first step to being healthy all over. You will be surprised by the physical changes that happen once you are feeling better mentally.
On a more tangible note, try eating constantly but things that are high nutrient dense. You can eat all the celery, hard boiled eggs and fruit you want. Just eat something every hour or so. Foods that are higher in protein and fiber will help you feel full a little longer. I love celery and almond butter. Also, drink water. Like constantly. Even if you aren't thirsty, you probably are dehydrated. A lot of people, including myself, mistake thirst for hunger. I have a gallon jug that I fill every morning and add some mint and lemon too since I hate the taste of plain water. I don't allow myself to go to bed until it's empty. Just remember that this is a lifestyle change and needs baby steps. You didn't get to this point overnight and you aren't going to get results overnight. Aim for one change a week, or even every two weeks. Don't refill the soda cup. Walk around the mall for half an hour. Choose baked instead of friend. Little steps. When you are hungry you need to eat, but what you eat is in your control. Are you eating chips, cakes, or "bad" snack foods? Because you need protein. Choice protein instead. Such as lean meat, yogurt, nuts, or beans. Measure the portion size and log calories daily. If you feel hungry around the same time each day, plan those snacks and meals to get the protein your body needs. You can do this, cause you are me, and I'm doing it.

Make a pact with yourself. Every time you feel hungry, drink a glass of water and wait 20 minutes. If you're still hungry after 20 minutes, eat something. If not, congratulate yourself for not eating and move on. Lots of time, thirst mimics hunger, and none of us know the difference.0

It will get better u just need to take with you some almonds or raw veg always help me when I just want to go to the snack machine and get what every. Drink a lot of water before u eat helps also.0
