T-Tapp

Does anyone else do the T-Tapp 15 minute workout? I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate of how many calories I burn doing it? I am five foot three and 132 pounds. I don't have a heart rate monitor and probably won't for a very long time so that's not an option.
Thanks!

Hi! I just joined today and that was my first question, as BWO+ is my exercise of choice at the moment. I found this website:

    http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=0x16058x22694856

    and this website:

    http://forum.t-tapp.com/showthread.php?60398-Any-Tappers-using-Sparkpeople-for-diet-tracking&p=647523&highlight=calories#post647523

I don't know what SparkPeople is, but their users have the same question. Based on their answer, I entered T-Tapp BWO+ as one of My Exercises and said it is a 15 minute cardiovascular workout that burns 140 calories.

"HOW MANY CALORIES DOES T-TAPP BURN?
Well, that depends on your weight and fitness level. But in general as a rule of thumb we say that Basic Workout Plus burns app the same as 15 minutes Low Impact General Aerobics: 140 calories."

Using the idea that T-Tapp burns 140 calories in 15 minutes, I went ahead and added the Total Workout to My Exercises, saying that 55 minutes burns 513 calories. (140/15)*55=513.33 Now in My Exercises both Basic Workout Plus and Total Workout burn 560 calories an hour. I guess I could have just created an exercise called T-Tapp and differentiated between Total and Basic by the number of minutes I exercise, but I like seeing the names in my exercise log.

This is just how I do it. I think a heart rate monitor would really help, but I don't have one. I'm more interested in tracking the fact that I am exercising (and what exercise I'm doing) and what I'm eating than the exact calories in and out, so I'm not too worried that this is inaccurate. I'm trying to become aware of my eating/exercising habits at this point.

    I hope this helps! ^_^
