Treadmill Incline Question

I have been looking everywhere online and cannot seem to find an answer.
I go to planet fitness, and I set the incline to 11.0, and everything online says that it's about percentage.
Well what does the 11.0 incline mean in percentage? Does anyone know where I can get a conversion chart or know off the top of their head the percentage?
It says on the model that the incline goes up 3%, and everytime you press the button to go up an incline it goes up .5, so would that mean that 22x.3=6.6% ? I am so confused

You mentioned "the model." Does that mean that you have the name and model number of the treadmill? Have you tried looking for it online? I had a similar question about my treadmill and I was able to find the manual online.0
