As much as you want to.
Best time is in the morning before you eat/drink anything.0 -
You should just be consistent. Beyond that it doesn't matter too much, although most (including me) often do it first thing in the morning, naked after peeing. How often depends on if you can handle natural fluctuations or not. I like to weigh in once a week, but I step on the scale almost daily.0

Thank you jkwolly.
Is there a particular reason for this?0 -
Yes, first thing in the morning after waking, while naked or nearly so and after using the toilet. Being consistent is the most important thing so that natural weight fluctuations from eating and drinking don't skew the results.0

Is it best in the morning because u have an empty stomach?0 -
Thanks SueInAz no wonder when I weigh myself in the morning it's less and in the afternoon it's more
Will start weighing myself in the morning now.
Thanks again all xx0 -
I weigh myself weekly, specifically on Fridays, first thing in the morning. I figure if it's bad news the fact it's Friday will balance everything out. I can't imagine slogging through a Monday after a negative scale experience.0

There isn't a should or shouldn't. I personally like to weigh myself daily because I like to pay attention to the fluctuations caused by what I do on a given day.
I happen to be a Saturday cheat day guy, so I almost guarantee that when I cheat it will be Saturday.
Saturday morning is typically my vanity weigh-in - it will be the day I weigh the least based on my reduction during the week.
Monday morning is typically my heavy day. This will be the day that I weigh the most. I consider that my reality check because it's typically 3-5lbs heavier than Saturday morning.
I log every day in Myfitnesspal, but I keep track of Saturday and Monday in a separate spreadsheet. While there is always a significant difference between my vanity day (Saturday) and my reality check day (Monday) I'll notice that both days are usually 1-2 lbs less than the week before.0 -

If you want the most accurate results, I think you have to be consistent: same time every day, etc. Just don't drive yourself crazy with it.0

lol Thanks Faranola12 will actually try that0

I'll hop on the scale most mornings, after peeing and putting in my contact lenses (so I can actually see the scale!) and log every couple days. My vanity weigh in tends to be Saturday or Sunday morning - not so much because I cheat on the weekends, but because I sleep really really late on my days off, and somehow that seems to affect my weight - it'll be a pound or so lighter waking up at 11 am as opposed to waking up at 7 am.0

Consistency is key.0
