My wife and I have recently joined, she does all the input. I want her to be able to log into my account and hers at the same time so she can enter our meals, as most of what we eat is the same. It is a drag, having to log in and out of our individual accounts to enter data. We want both accounts open side by side. How do we do that?

You could use two different devices, one that stays logged into your account and one that stays logged into hers.

    Yeah why?

I suppose you could have to different web browser open like IE and Firefox and then log into your separate accounts and minimize the windows til they share screen space.

Otherwise you maybe able to both login on the same browser and minimize the windows to share screen space.

    Seems silly.

It's probably a feature you need to ask MFP to implement. If she enters a recipe and makes it available to everyone then she can find the same recipe when she goes to enter on the second account, saving entering the individual ingredients. I can see the utility to being able to choose two users and enter the same dinner calories.

If you have your diaries set to public and are friends, she can log food from her account, then you can log into yours, view friends, click on her name and look at her diary. Under each meal's entry there are three dots (...) where you can click on it and copy the meal. Change the date to today and pick which meal you want to log it for. It's quite easy to do and it's how my husband and I do it when one of us has logged in a homemade recipe. This is for the apps, I would assume there is a way to do it on a computer too.

if youre eating the same, just combine accounts and be one.

like "mrandmrsvenlandseymour". then she can just log everything once and have more free time to do stuff for you.

It's easier than that. He can copy from her diary into his. You just click "Quick Tools" and then "Copy to" and choose the date.

I log for my husband; I'm logged into my account on Firefox and his account on Chrome. Works for me.
