My backside is always hanging out of my jeans. Each time I buy another pair, I lose inches somewhere. Thrift store jeans are a godsend. Does anyone else have this problem ?

Oh, yes I know this dilemma first-hand. LOL
Weight loss is ever linear and where the fat disappearance is seemingly random and can cause a lot of heartache, all because you can't spot reduce..... Before this is over be prepared that bulges in brand new places may crop up randomly and the Poof they are gone.....so Welcome to the topsy-turvy way of weight loss.
Another thought is getting into squats, lunges that will help lift and define even an older flat butt and strength training. There are a number of groups who have more knowledge and maybe offer their advice.
Also, Thank God (and all other deities for thrift shops otherwise I for one would be in debt after going from an Australian size 24-36 to a 6.
For me it was my bewbs......I had to revise my size....al the time. Now in teenage section wearing training bras.0 -
I feel sorry for everyone who is going to see my bum for the next twelve months lol0

I suffer from Pancake Bum which means my thighs hold my jeans up, not my bum! The last time I lost weight that was how I knew it was time to go down a size in pants - when the bum got baggy and looked bad. I hear that squats do a lot to help it, but for now I'm working on the diet bit.0
