It really depends on what you are looking for. Meals on a budget, reduced calories, vegetarian, limited ingredients, cooking basics, ethnic cooking, gourmet cooking, etc.

My favorite cookbook is one I received as a gift. It's called Farmer's Market Cookbook and has recipes divided by season. I like to grow food so this really appealed to me.

When I was young and just getting into cooking I found an old Betty Crocker cookbook from the 60's at a yard sale and found it very helpful for learning basic cooking skills.

'Nom nom paleo, Food for humans' by Michelle Tam is really good! Her website offers a lot of free recipes as well.

I personally wouldn't waste any money on a cookbook.

Go to Pinterest and just search ideas - millions of recipes for free, from whatever you want!
