amazing light chocolate mousse....100g for 90cals
This can be heavily altered to fit alot of diets
I use great value brand chocolate sugar free instant pudding mix and light cool whip. You can use regular pudding mix and any flavor. Milk alternatives and even water work (that REALLY reduces the calories).
Lower carb version.....Heavy cream to make the pudding and real whipped cream instead of cool whip. Also, I know there are some brands of low carb puddings that can be used too.
Make pudding according to package. The mix is 35cals a serving, 4 servings in a box...140cals. I use 2%milk....2 cups is 240cals.
After the pudding is set, fold the entire tub of light cool whip into the pudding. 20cals for 2tbpsn...400cals for the tub.
400+240+140= 780 cals for the entire bowl, which makes around 800grams. Use water and its 540cals for 800g!
Enjoy. Thats it....less than 6minutes to make.
Its fabulous and satisfying.

I appreciate the recipe, but am I the only one who find the sugar free pudding mixes awful? I tried the cheesecake one and had to add sugar...0

Use a regular type! I have made this for years with regular pudding and real whipped cream....which is obviously better, but much higher cals.
Also, some brands are better than others, but generally speaking I like them.0
