The "grapefruit diet" has been around for eons. I wish losing weight was as easy as eating a grapefruit everyday. But alas, it is not!

I eat a grapefruit almost every day and I'm losing weight!

PS: I also walk about 10 miles a day and ride my bike at least 3 times a week and maintain a 1000 calorie deficit most days. But I'm sure it's the grapefruit that makes the difference.v ;)

Aha yes! Definitely the grapefruit doing it's job for you lol

Grape fruit is pretty yummy, but I'm not sure if it "burns fat". I'm not sure where you heard that but it's probably a lie.

^^^^ agree... Couple things about grapefruit, if you take a blood pressure medicine, check with your doctor, for it reacts bad with those meds and may lessen their effectiveness. You can also go to WebMD and check this out too. Another thing is if you are diabetic, you proably should only eat 1/2 a grapefruit. Grapefruit is lower in calories, but is a higher sugar fruit.

I take lisinopril blood pressure medicine, so I don't eat my grapefruit till a good 8 to 10 hours after I have taken this medicine. I also am diabetic and will only eat 1/2 of a fruit in a day.

Grapefruit (the red is usually sweeter than the white too) is like liver... You will either love it, or you will hate it.
