Cross Trainers

Hi. I'm in the market for some good cross trainers. My boyfriend is doing T25 and I decided to do a couple of the videos with him this week (I am just finishing up the second month of ChaLEAN Extreme so I was just adding some extra burns). I tried to do them in my running shoes which turned out to be a TERRIBLE idea because my feet just cramped the entire time.

Anyone have any suggestions for good cross trainers for Insanity/T25/etc?

Thanks!

Most shoes are made to deal with specific types of people. Some are cut wider, some more narrow. Others are for people who need support, some are more flexible. I’d recommend going down to a good sporting goods store with a shoe department and trying on some. Read some reviews online and then find the pair that is best for you.

I use inov-8 lite 195s for my crossfit WODs which require a little more moving around than the DVDs but should be ok. Mine are relatively flat, don’t provide much bounce or support, a very minimalist style. http://www.inov-8.com/New/Global/Index.asp?L=27
