HELP: NECK PAIN WITH LYING DOWN TRICEP EXTENSIONS

Hi everyone,
So today I was doing some lying down tricep extensions and I was really pushing for this last rep. As I lowered my weights down after pushing for that rep, I noticed a very sharp, tense pain running from the point of my chin downwards on my neck--like a vertical line of pain up and down my neck. I tried doing the typical neck stretches and head tilts to try and work it loose again, but it's not helping much. It hurts like a strained/over-worked muscle, which I think it might be...but it's very uncomfortable as it kind of hurts when I swallow. Any suggestions on what this might be and how I can heal it?
Thanks!
