5'9 and size 12, want to be a 6 by Nov.

Now that I'm in my 30s with a kid, it's harder for me to lose weight with excersize alone. I've been using MFP for 3 weeks and lost almost 7 lbs. I switched to a mostly Paleo diet, and am staying under 1200 calories (net). I feel great, energetic and clear headed. I haven't worn a size 6 for more than a decade, so I'm curious if it's still possible. Any relatively active and athletic folks (or not) in a similar boat who'd like to be friends and support one another?

Of course you can do it! Try eating more in the begining because when your weight loss will stall you won't have any cals to substract from your diet + 1200 is kinda low for 5'9. Also don't set a deadline because you may be disapointed when it comes and you're not at your target weight.
I am your height and ~29 years old and I've made it, so I'm sure you can make it too . For me it was slow(1 year) and I was never overweight, just close. I'm not sure what US size I am now, the only thing with us size label I have it's a pair of jeans that indeed say 60
