Stuck

I started my weight loss journey Jan 4th of this year. (2 months in) I have been running 4-5 times a week 45 to 60 min. My weight loss has plateaud and everytime I log my exercises it makes my calories go into a defecit. Even if I eat more than my 1200 calories !! What am I supposed to do to balance this out? Am I to eat my exercise calories so confused ?! I just changed my activity level to see if that would change anything.

It will be down to logging issues - either food in or exercise in

If you open your diaries you can get specific advice

    Yes

OK when it comes to food logging, the MFP database is a bit tricky because it's made up of user entries too and a lot of those can be wrong. A good guideline is

    Food Entry
    1) Always use non-starred entries where possible
    2) If using a member submitted one (they have an asterisk) look for those with confirmations
    3) Always (particularly at the start) cross-check against packs and other calorie databases on the internet
    4) Never use other people's homemade entries, build your own in the recipe builder
    5) Weigh everything, including oils and enter it by grammes. Never use cups or spoon measurements, makes a huge difference
    6) It gets easier honest

    Exercise Entry
    1) MFP overestimates! You need to cut those calories in half (or 75% maximum) - just double click on the calorie box when you enter it
