OK so i am 22 yrs old and i am only 5' 2" and i am currently and unfortunetly weighing in at 152. my scale said 147 but i went to the drs office bout last wk and their scale said 152 :( ok anyways, i need help bad! so i used to weigh over 180 and have been dieting and exersising and working out for bout a yr n a half now, having lost over 30 lbs i am now stuck. my dream/goal in life is to join the army national guard. i have been pursueing this dream since november of last yr. back then i weighed 140 when i lived in texas, recently bout three months back i moved back to michigan and in with my sister and her family, since then i have unfortunetly gain quite a bit of weight :( anyways... everything is in order and i have just been cleared to sign my contract..... but there is still one last thing stopping me from joining. i am now OVER my weight limit :( i have to drop down to atleast 138lbs if not more. im real close but its getting very difficult for me now. i work part time and im a single mommy so i know my stress level is waaay overboard right now, but my situation is the more time that passes for me to loose this weight the chance gets smaller for me to join, its sort of a now or never. sooooo how can i loose this weight, but as quickly as possible?? as soon as i sign my contract i can go to basic training and they will whip me into shape physically!!! but it is my responsibility to get down to the 138lbs. HELP!!!! IS IT POSSIBLE TO LOOSE THIS AMOUNT OF WEIGHT QUICKLY? IF SO... WHAT SORTA TIME FRAME AM I LOOKING AT? any advice is really appreciated. i know this one was long but thank u everyone for taking the time to read it. :)

Yes it is possible, but it may not be healthy! My husband is active duty ARMY and I went through this with him when he re-enlisted a couple years ago. He needed to loose quite a bit and he did it in a very short amount of time. He got a lot of suggestions from his recruiter. Basically he did high protein, no sugar and very low carb. 64 or more oz of water a day. The he would run every day, in the heat with layers of clothes on to make him sweat. Then there were tricks with preparation H to be able to make tape. The recruiters know all the tricks they should be able to help you. Good luck Momma Hooah
