    There are thin people who actually have a lot of BF and fat people who are actually lean. The difference is in the lifting. You have to lift to gain muscle.

    Exercise bike maybe? I managed to mess up my lower back this morning but it didn't hurt at all when I went on my bike. Of course that's not going to do much for your abs and upper body.

    no you don't have to lift.. isometric exercises will build muscle. especially the core. will it build massive bulk? no.. but it will do more than people think. it just takes alot of work.
