What are some of the best foods that you've noticed to boost your digestion? My colon is kind of sluggish! Thanks!

Slowly increase your fiber intake, both soluble and insoluble. Have enough fat in your diet as well, maybe a tablespoon of Olive oil. There are salads in your future.

You may have to experiment adding and taking away specific foods to see if something specific is having an effect. I have to be cautious with potatoes for instance.

Walking is great for getting things moving.

I find the combination of a daily multi vitamin, yogurt, and coffee keeps my chronically sluggish colon more regular. Without those items in my diet, I can upwards of 3-4 days without a BM. :s

Eat a generous amount of papaya first thing in the morning before anything else.

Add a cup of beans to your diet every day or every other day and you'll get moving in no time. :)

    Plus protein!!

Yogurt (the kind of yogurt I eat now is similar to Greek yogurt and does not have much added sugar or other nonessential ingredients)

Thanks for all the suggestions! I eat a ton of fruits and veggies (they are my fave!) and exercise a ton so I need to add more higher calorie foods anyway, such as beans and oats that are high in fiber and super yummy
