I see blue and black, but in an online poll, I saw that 70+% of people saw white and gold. I don't understand!!!!

I saw white and gold at first! And my brother said it was blue and black.... And then it changed for me O.o soooo weird!

I see gold and white, however the dress has been confirmed to be blue and black. Colour is just our eye's perception of how an object reflects or emits light, which explains why people see different colour combinations due to the lighting in this photo.

When I first saw it was obviously blue and black. Then I looked at something else and when I looked at the dress again it was white and gold! Freaks me out, lol.

It always looks gold and white to me although some of the gold has a slight beige to it.

Ugh, I've seen white and gold...then blue and black..now back to white and gold!

They claim it is a blue and black dress. I've had cataract surgery on both eyes and my bionic lenses have UV filters so that may be part of what I see, but they say it really has to do with how your eyes respond to combinations of colors. I have a duffle bag that is a pewter and white weave but it appears purple in some light to me.
