okay, so I mentioned i have a couple stomach issues and i'm constantly going for tests and scopes. but i don't really eat at work because i can't afford to get sick at work. i spend hours sometimes unable to run to the washroom if i needed to.

so sometimes i find i have 1000 calories left over from the day due to my fitbit
would eating the 1000 calories in the span of 4 hours do anything to the weight loss?
I know 1000 seems like a lot, but sometimes food can be very high in calories and it's easy to eat that much.

Meal timing is personal preference. Intermittent fasting, is a common technique to help people limit calorie intake, and through IF many people will eat their entire days worth of calories in 6-8 hours. You should be fine having 1000 calories in 4 hours.

I often save up at least 1000 calories for dinner and evening snacks, so I likely eat those within a 4 hour span as well.

No...meal timing is largely irrelevant. 1000 calories is 1000 calories is 1000 calories...it really doesn't matter if you eat them all at once or spread them out.

Perhaps you would be a candidate for intermittent fasting as that seems similar to what you're already talking about.

A lot of people who practice intermittent fasting eat their whole day's worth of calories in just a few hours. If it doesn't cause you any issues it shouldn't affect your weight loss.

Depends how much ice cream is included.

If it's none, your diet sucks.

I regularly eat 1000 calories during my last 5 waking hours in the day. I prefer eating more at night - yesterday I ate pretty much all my calories by 5pm and I was staying up studying, had to sneak in some veggies for SOMETHING near 10pm, but it could be because I ate lower protein (over-ate protein the day before and was eating lazy food yesterday, which is usually higher fat/carb).

I don't usually eat until noon or so late as 2 or 3 somedays except on Thursdays there will be eating between noon and 1 on thursdays. Thou gh that's because Thursday is my early day and I've got no time between 1 and 615 to eat
