How much salt add regularly to food?

Do any fit people/athletes here add salt to meals regularly? If so, how much?

I've struggled w/ hyponatremia for a while (feel nauseous after drinking liquids, lightheaded upon standing, muscle cramps at night after long runs, puffy face). I theoretically get 2g/day (aka the recommended amount) w/o supplementation. I've started adding 1/8th tsp once a day....then twice a day (that's about 2.7g/day). But I'm still having the cramps and puffy face (but not the lightheadedness or nausea).

Is 3x/day overkill? What do other athletes do? The Internet is telling me a lot of info about the average joe, but I want to hear what athletes do! (And if one more well meaning, but clueless, person tells me to snack on potato chips or pretzels I'm going to throw a fit, haha) .
