I hope i am not the only one, I have so far lost 16lbs going from 188 to 172, I weighed myself a week and a half ago and although I am still following my diet and exercise plan I feel bigger than ever. I truly thought that I would notice the 16lbs but its just made me miserable and left me thinking well still 18 to go to the first goal. does anyone else feel like this, I am really lacking motivation and this is upsetting me, the weight loss has been consistent and theoritcally i am lighter and smaller inch wise than I have been in two years but I feel huge. any ideas about how to turn this mind set around?

    That's amazing!!!!!!!!!! Well done!!

No keep up the good work...........Why stop now, You have done amazing!!

But yes... I went down to 133lbs and I thought all that work and I still feel like this... Now I have just been lifting weights, and I am heavier now than I have ever been, but so much more toned, more definition and less fat.

Keep it up and reach your target!!!

Weight loss isn't the entire goal- it's health. Keep it up, you will get stronger and leaner and before you know it, you will be very happy with the person looking back at you in the mirror.. I promise you that you will be successful- just stay on plan.

Well done losing 16lbs - please keep up the good work. One morning, you're going to look in the mirror and be amazed at who's looking back you.

When that happens, I try to focus on how I'm getting healthy and not just losing weight. By prioritizing my health, it makes me feel better because the number on the scale suddenly feels less important, and how far I walked that day is much more important. I often feel how you feel sometimes, even at 24 lbs. lost - like I haven't really lost anything. It's especially apparent when I don't have a belt on, because I'll often measure myself based on where I am on it - and I've moved up quite a few holes. Taking a shower or wearing pajama pants, though, I just don't feel like I've lost that much, and that's when I focus on my 5 miles of walking that day.

Thanks everyone! I guess just keep at it, I have been looking into getting kettle bells to improve tone. Hopefully I will have lost a few inches when i measure and wegh on sunday and that willl be motivation. I think its the sudden burst of sunshine that is putting a dampner on, when it was raining i was just pleased to be back in the jeans, now i am thinking i need to get bikini ready lol. :)
