Post-Surgery Suggestions Needed

I had a pituitary tumor removed in early December. All of January was just me returning to my sense of normal and healing. I started work on February 14th, and began Insanity shortly after. In February, I also noticed my hair was falling out in clumps - enough that there are noticeable thin spots in my once thick hair (not a fun time.).

I called my doctor, and her explanation was that the stress on my body after the surgery is no good and that my thyroid medications are still working on leveling out.

I was told I can still workout, as long as it is "non-strenuous" and "doesn't raise the heart rate too much." (This obviously means my time with insanity is done for now, which is disappointing because I was around two weeks in and was starting to see the results.) What would you recommend for exercise that fits this criteria? [I work at a gym and get access there, but I'm not oppose to working out at home either.]

Maybe some yoga or Pilates? What about a walk at an easy pace?
Best of luck to you and glad you are feeling better! Take care!
