I would like to know if our calories burned through activity trackers like Nike fuel band and Fitbit- count towards our Resting Metobolic Rate so I could "add" those burned calories towards my MyFitnessPal app thus giving me more calories to enjoy

Thank you :)

That's a good question. You may need to email the manufacturer. I'm just going to take a guess and say that the calories burned are calories from exercise and do not include calories from BMR.

As long as you input your stats, it will start with your BMR (so if you forget to wear it for a day, it will only calculate that) and add calories as you move around. Most trackers you can link to your MFP account so you don't need to add anything step-based in manually. At the end of the day, you will see your TDEE, which is what it says you burned (though, like most everything that accounts for exercise, take that with a grain of salt as it may not be as accurate as you'd like).
