New to gym

i recently started going to the gym, i want to lose weight but dont know what kind of exercises to do or what is good for weight loss
I do have a good diet and drink lots of water

    You lose fat through you calorie deficit. Workout for health and a calorie burn to aid with your deficit.

    Talk to one of the trainers there, do some research online (bodybuilding.com helps you pick a workout program and has pretty good choices).

    A combination of weight exercises and cario or HITT (high-intensity training, such as high intensity circuits) will work best for weight loss.

    The more muscle you have, the more calories your body will burn even when it's at rest, so make sure you incorporate some kind of hard weight training into your workouts.

    I suggest taking some classes so you are familier with some of the movements required for weights. Try taking a Body Pump class or even Pilates.
