Hello all !!
It is really nice to be here and see a group I can relate to !
I am very disorganized with my workouts and cannot achieve consistency. I would like to get 4 workouts a week minimum, but it doesn't happen all the time then I feel very bad about myself.
How do you all keep motivated and stay on track ?
Thanks for sharing !!

It's really all about how you make time for yourself. Do you work in the morning? You can wake up before your normal time of waking up and walk/jog around your block. Do body weight exercises i.e. burpees, jumping jacks, sit-ups, crunches, squats. If you don't have time before work, move it to the afternoon. But when you wake up in the morning, you burn fat rather than just carbs and sugars in the afternoons.
For me I keep motivated by seeing the amount of weight I've lost so far. 11 pounds might not seem like much, but I can feel the difference in the way I move and I've even noticed that I can run for 6 straight minutes without feeling like my lungs are going to collapse in. I hope what I've said helps you.0 -
I keep motivated by remembering how horrible I feel when I've eaten too much or haven't walked. Usually any food cravings I might have only last 20 minutes and afterwards I'm so pleased I didn't give up eating healthy, that's all the motivation I need!0

11 pound is very much a lot of weight to lose ! Congratulations on that !!
I am working on talking time for myself without feeling guilty.
I know what you mean by feeling horrible after eating too much. I don't think I ever forget that, which sounds painful, but after seeing a nutritionist, I really am working on redefining that and making it more positive. Having that as a goal before I eat helps m0 -
i use google calendars to organize my life and my work outs.
also, 75% of my workouts need to be first thing in the morning, that way they get done before any excuses get in my way. and yes, sometimes that means getting up at 4am.0 -
I'm a firm believer in exercise as the first thing you do every day.0

I do believe anything that is important to you in life is good to start with in the morning. Unfortunately, I am very bad at working out in the morning . I still get my exercise done though0
