i live abroad and my wife cooks with a lot of pulses and i am searching for the bean that is used in the making of baked beans and their calorific values--she makes them just in tomato based water--not as thick as sauce and with no sugar added--i can see white pea beans on the system but cant imagine that kind of calories in them!

some sites say they are haricot and others white pea beans--ive decided to use the haricot because they are more reasonable in values-100g 151 calories for homemade version--i need about 200g to feel satisfied--thanks0

Haricot beans are mostly used.
I did a quick search & found a table that outlines the basic nutritional values of beans. Per 100g, it says cooked haricot beans would provide - 12.5 g carbs, 9g fiber, 0.5g fat. I think the protein would be 6-7g. I could be wrong.0 -
is there a headline calorie count- on that --the other values seem right but the fat on the systems baked beans is high compared to yours0
