Hi there,
Can anyone recommend a Protien powder, I'm struggling to hit my protein. Would prefer gluten free.
Thanks in advance

Men/women can use the same kind.
I prefer Kaizen All Naturals Whey Isolate.0 -
the same for men.
Basically any on the market. Choose your budget, and goferit. bodybuilding.com is a great place to buy from, as is amazon.com.0 -
Women do not need a specific protein powder.
I did a google search and found this: http://www.glutenfreefitness.com/gluten-free-and-dairy-free-protein-powder-101-sports-nutrition-for-celiacs/
Has a list of different protein powders that are gluten free.0 -
Already said, brands aren't gender specific. I do Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard...usually in a chocolate flavor, but their vanilla is also good. I have no idea if it's gluten free, probably not...if you're doing gluten free for health reasons obviously check out the label, if it's the fad diet thing, well, have fun.
ON's tastes delicious though. Mix it up with some ice and milk and it tastes like a shake.

Protein isn't gender specific. I like Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Isolate. There other one is good too...they use real cocoa which makes it taste really good.
Your best bet is to hit up a nutrition store and see if you can get some samples. Taste is the biggest thing and there are some of these things that tastes like what I would assume a horses *kitten* tastes like.0 -
the one in the pink bottle- it'll make sure you don't have chest hairs when you're done.
I didn't know that so now I have to shave my chest- I get my BF to shave my back- it's getting out of control.0 -
Yep! I use Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard 100% Whey too. I have them in Double Chocolate and Vanilla. 24g protein in a 120-calorie full scoop.
And it looks something like this...

not only that, but some will digest well for you, and others less so.
plus the hair thing.0 -

seriously the hair thing is just super inconvenient now- but apparently the side effects from using men's protein for to long is not reversible. I'm going to be getting married in a wool coat like fuking Chewbacca.
<also-I use gold standard vanilla>0 -
my amazon reviewer name is Chewbacca.

My favorite is Plant Fusion. They have a few with just protein or with supplements. Easy on my tummy and gluten free and vegan.0

I really like Perfect Fit Protein Powder.0

or you could just not be lazy and google it

Would you consider a vegan protein? If so, I would recommend Sun Warrior-Warrior Blend.0

I like EAS Lean. The vanilla crime tastes great and it's 100 cal for 2 scoops so you don't have to feel like you're drinking a meals worth of calories to get your protein in.0

I like quest protein. All flavors are tasty and macros are great. There are about 20 of protein, 1 of fat and 2 of carb (less 1 g of sugar) per serving.0
