I am completely plant based, and my diary is open. I'd be happy to send you recipes for anything you see that looks good to you. I'd recommend checking out the Happy Herbivore, Team Vegan and MFP Vegetarian groups on here. Vegan is not a diet though, it's a lifestyle. No animal products used for anything. It's not a temporary thing.0

I made a post about low sugar and fat sweet treats and got some amazing answers, I will pick them out and post them for you, the first I tried was banana and pay cookies as I had the ingredients ready!0

Banana oat cookies! 2 bananas 1 cup of oats and semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips. Put them in the oven for 15 minutes at 350. They're great and a much better alternative to most sweets. This made 8 small for me & I removed the chocolate chips and they worked out at 95 calories each, great snack food!0

these awesome tacos:
1 eggplant
1 pepper (i ususally use green but it doesn't really matter)
1 or 2 tomatoes
1/2 cup of nutritional yeast
~1 packet of taco seasoning
oil for cooking
tortillas
maybe avocados
slice eggplant into disks and cook in a skillet
add chopped peppers when eggplant is mostly done
when they're both done add tomatoes, nutritional yeast, and seasoning
let it all heat up together for a bit.
put it on tortillas with some avocado slices

black bean and brown rice soup
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion chopped finely
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup chopped celery
2 garlic cloves minced or however
3.5 cups veggie broth
1 can rinced black bleans
1 can of refried beans (check for lard before you buy)
1 cup of water
1 cup of frozen corn
1/2 cup of mild sauce (i use valentina)
1/2 cup instant brown rice (i actually use red sticky rice and it works well so you could use whatever)
2 bay leaves
1 limes worth of juice
in a stockpot saute onion, carrot, celery. stir until softened
add garlic and cook for about 1 minute
add all the remaining ingredients except the lime
boil on heat while stirring thoroughly
reduce to med-low once the refried beans are dissolved, simmer uncovered while stirring occasionally until rice is done
remove bay leaves and add lime juice before serving
this soup is really good, but can cause some serious heartburn so just a warning
i find that if i add some avocado to my bowl it mellows it a bit

i made these today but subbed the chocolate chips and flour for a tbsp. of cocoa powder and a tbsp. of chocolate protein powder for less calories and more protein
