Diastatis recti advice

I've come to the conclusion that this stomach fat is not going anywhere because of this condition. No matter how much I worked my abs nothing would happen. I need to go physical therapy and see how bad it really is, but in the mean time, what can I do?
I used to work out an hour a day with hiot and body weight movements and a lot of ab work. But now I'm scared to do anything because it will make it worse. What can I do as far as cardio goes? And I've been reading into the tupler technique but it seems way too gentle for me. What can I do for legs/back/arms? I'm not sure what is safe.
