It could just be the weight of the food you're currently digesting. I did it too. Sundays are my off days, and I had my nighttime candy, cookies and dinner at a restaurant. I put on almost 4lbs, but I'm still digesting the weight of that food. It'll be okay.0

Oh gawd, I hope so I am freaking out and stressing out... how long could it be till the weight gets off??0

Well.... some of it may not leave since that sounds like a lot of calories. I mean if you really ate everything you said, don't you think its about 7,000 calories?
I am very prone to sodium-caused water retention now. Early on in the weight loss fun, I wasn't. Now I am. Its super frustrating to take a month to lose 3 pounds then see that gain in one day after eating restaurant food -- and I don't ever eat more than 500 or 600 calories over maintenance. It can take me 4 or 5 days of drinking a reasonable amount of water and eating at a deficit to return to the weight I was before the water weight gain.
Cheat meals/days can wipe out a couple weeks of work for me so I just don't do it anymore.

why are you weighing that frequently? Once a week is a better bet and same time of the day. Good luck on your journey0

I wouldn't worry about it. I am sure your sodium intake was too high. Drink a lot of water, keep exercising, and keep eating healthy stuff. Do not starve! You will get there!0

I gained 5 pounds from 3 days in Mexico. Went right back to counting and logging and it disappeared in about a week.
I too advocate once a week weigh-ins. I like weighing in on a mid-week morning. Let's a little wiggle room for the weekend calories0 -

Doesn't sound like you were being super good and healthy on the weekend. It's easy to wipe out your work all week long in a single day. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just carry on and eat within your calorie goal. You'll probably lose several of these pounds easily but not all of it right away.0
