Hi guys, I have recently realised I need to lose a minimum of 20lbs and have started the Bilaras loose '10 lbs' in 7 days diet as a way to kick start my weight loss. I eat healthy anyways and for about the past 18 months seem to have slowly gained around a stone and feel really unhappy in myself. Has anyone tried it?

On principle I have no interest in any fad diets, sorry. Will you be following MFP and tracking everything you eat, too?

Yeah that's wot I plan to do. I Dnt agree with them either but feel I'm at a loss and have tired everything so hoping this might if nothing else motivate me in the beginning.

Never heard of it. But, it takes roughly a 3500 calorie deficit to lose 1 pound of fat. If you lose 10 lbs in 7 days, that's mostly going to be water weight. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but water is often gained as quickly as it's lost, so don't be disappointed if that happens.

Don't confuse 'healthy diet' with 'healthy foods'. Eating 'healthy foods' is no guarantee that you won't gain weight. Too much healthy food is not a healthy diet. And, you don't have to eat 100% healthy foods to have a healthy diet.

If you already have a diet rich in healthy foods that's a good start. Now you just need to stop overeating and you should be right on track.

    Best of luck to you.
