how to cope with exhaustion?

I'm waiting to get in to see a specialist for a medical issue. Those folks are harder to get in to see than gaining an audience with the Pope.

Part of the issue is that I am so tired, An exhaustion I can not begin to describe with words.
I realize being tired goes with this thing, but this is a level of tired I did not reach on Active Duty in the military forward deployed and working 16 hour days.

This is the I'm sleeping 8-12 hours a night and wake up dizzy and exhausted, it hurts to move sort of tired. The pain may or may not diminish through out the day, Tylenol doesn't touch it. The fatigue only gets worse. My job is extremely active, before noon, I have walked 5 miles just to get everything checked at work and in order. By 3 when I get off, a slow day is 8 miles total, a bad day can go up to 15 miles.

I currently take a small arsenal of vitamins to try and help. And they do to some degree. I stopped taking them for a week to test if they did, I won't do that again.

I'm currently following my doctor's orders on calorie limits and food. Weight loss isn't my concern as I am maintaining.

I'm just looking for any suggestions on how to cope with Autoimmune thyroid induced fatigue. No medications given yet, until I get in to see this magical endocrinologist. At this point, I will take any and all ideas to stop the fatigue. I'm barely functioning, please help
