Before swimming? Am usually a fast digester

    No you will not digest that quickly. But you won't necessarily need to either.

    Probably not but doesn't matter :) Apparently that's an old wives' tale. No offence to old wives.

    Update: so, 0.5 - actually it was 0.43 - lbs (raw) of tri-tip and 3/4's of a cup of boiled potatoes with skin & a bit of butter, 40 minutes before swimming, is like ROCKET FUEL :)

    (I'm kidding, I'm only a so-so swimmer and I only do the breast stroke, but I had *so much* energy and I felt like I had good strong strokes the whole time. lol. Then I almost got into a fight with the maintenance guy who wanted to kick us women out of the changeroom literally 3 minutes after lane swim ended. like seriously it's winter and we have wet hair, dude. but that's neither here nor there. )
