a little fitbit trouble.

i've got the CHARGE HR and love it :)

i am however experiencing a couple glitches. the first being, i don't know what it considers exercise, but it has credited me with 22 active minutes and 15 floors climbed today.

my actual exercise time i have not timed, but i climbed over 1300 steps today (as part of a challenge to climb the empire state building, equal to). that's not 22 minutes or 15 floors.

is anyone else having this problem, or does anyone else have any suggestions to make it more accurate?

Were your climbing steps on a stair climber or something where your actual elevation wasn't changing? The floors count comes from an altimeter so you need to actually go up to earn floors.

'Active minutes' is based on some proprietary threshold they choose. Your own idea of 'active' might be entirely different.

i was going down to my basement and up again over and over. which is why i got confused! i guess i'll just have to figure out what their heart rate threshold is.
