What Are the Symptoms Of Over-Training?

I don't believe I am over-training at all, though I have gone a little 0-60 in the exercise department as I prepare for my first 'race' (an actual Tough Mudder) in September.
But I was curious upon what kind of symptoms one would see if they were over-training?

If you're peeing blood, you're gonna have a bad time.

Seriously though, if your performance in whatever desired area starts to go backwards despite heavy training, you're probably overdoing it. That's generally my yardstick.

One early symptom is generally insomnia or sleep disruption. Exercise listlessness--you don't want to work out, you have to talk yourself into it HARD. (You might still feel good a little while into it, though). Workouts are tough to get through. Your friends and family start noticing and maybe even commenting that you're working out too much or too hard, that you seem unusually crabby. Eventually you hit the point where your resting heart rate is elevated.
