Starvation mode? Banana Girl? Unlimited Calories?

So, I'm vegan and this is one of the Youtubers I watch because she discusses diet and vegan myths and such. In this she discusses how starvation mode isn't real. Her references are in the description box.
I thought this would be especially pertinent to our community.

Generally speaking when someone brings up 'starvation mode' its refuted as myth. While starvation mode (as its thought of) is not 'real' I do firmly believe that if we don't take care of our body, we'll regret it. Things don't work so well after long term abuse or neglect.0

There are too many medical professionals who use the term "starvation mode" to say that it doesn't exist. However, it doesn't mean what a lot of people think it does.0

it basically states that starvation mode (as it is talked about often here) is a myth and that despite what some people like banana girl say, you can't eat an infinite number of calories and maintain or lose weight just because those calories came from fruit and veg.
Basically the same thing most knowledgeable people say here every day..."starvation mode is a myth" and "no, you can't eat as many calories as you want just because you eat clean or whatever." Good stuff...
Beyond that, I find it absurd that anyone would take banana girl even remotely seriously...

Medical professionals say that when they mean adaptive thermogenesis. No one denies the latter exists.

A tip that may put you at ease in some cases. Hove over the video and the source of the video will appear in the bottom left of the screen. For this one it says YouTube, so this is just an embedded video from youtube that will likely not have anything bad. If you are still not sure you could right click on the video, copy address, paste it on notepad or something to make sure it's a trustworthy source (youtube in this case), then paste it in your address bar in a new tab. You will be taken directly to YouTube without having to click the video here.
Back to topic. I like how she handles this. In some cases someone would say "starvation mode" and mean "adaptive thermogenesis", not the bastardized version where you gain weight at 800 calories. She says aka "starvation mode" then goes on to explain the correct version of it.0 -

She looks good IMO. But she's a cyclist. She 1.) cycles WAY more than she lets on AND 2.) Doesn't eat the 5k calories a day she claims.
Alot of these vegans on youtube claim that they can "smash in the calories" and "carb the f up" because "no one gets fat on fruit".
As far as the video OP posted, this chick has other videos which seem pretty good too. I've seen a few of her calling people out on the BS they claim.0 -

the video isn't banana girl...the video is someone refuting the claims of banana girl and some of her vegan minions and also talks about starvation mode and the absurdity that is the notion that if you don't eat enough you will just completely stop losing weight or even gain weight.
It's a good video...OP probably should have just left banana girl out of it though.

She's 23 and has made MILLIONS of dollars selling this over-priced p.o.s. Anyways, they made a video saying that she has no idea what she's talking about, and that they bought the e-book and didn't like the diet she was recommending. Saying something about it being a starvation diet and promoting eating disorders. They also said that she's buying instagram followers.
Well, then the next day a video goes up and they receive legal threats to cease and desist.
That just added oil to the fire and they've been making videos everyday since then calling her out and being like "f that we won't be silenced".
Well now they are being taken to Supreme Court (updated since yesterday).
There's a bunch of "fitness guru's" on instagram like Ashy Bines, Emily Skye, Nikki Sharp, etc. who sell crap e-books and rip people off and steal before and after photos, etc.0 -
